The First Topic: Automobiles - Engineering Improvements

Is there a better way?

"Over 1.2m people are killed in road traffic accidents around the world each year, according to a report."

"The report shows that more than 3,000 people are killed in road accidents every day. Most of these are young adults between the ages of 15 and 44."

"By 2020 road injuries could overtake HIV and tuberculosis to rank third in the causes of premature death and disability around the world."

I think there is.
Computer driven cars, an autopilot for cars.
See an example

Shouldn't be that hard to do, just need political patience and money - two things we don't have much of these days. I guess people will just have to keep on dying.

It is interesting to me how we can get all worked up about a few people dying in a plane accident every year or so and yet have 3000 people die every day in car accidents and few people even know this.

People are strange...
