Duh! Until we do something about it the situation will not change (go figure). Various alternative energy technologies have half hearted support, and the American public could care less. The American public is very much un-educated on this issue. Lets face it, most don't care where their energy comes from, as long as the light turns on when they flip the switch. Some complain of our entanglement in the middle east, but neglect to establish or even support policies which would allow us to have a second hand interest in the region as opposed to the deeply entrenched interests we currently must maintain. Energy is our life's blood, and currently our transfusions come from Saudi Arabia.
